NORIKO NAITO-OWUSU, PASTEL ART

Noriko Naito-Owusu was born and raised in Atami, Japan. However, she lived many years in Accra, Ghana (West Africa) with her Ghanaian husband and 3 children where she admired the natural beauty of the African women. She graduated with a BA in Arts from the Joshibi Women's University in Tokyo. She started painting in oil from the age of five, and started with pastels in her early 20s which she has used mainly since then. Mrs. Noriko Naito-Owusu ​exhibits regularly in Shizuoka-ken, and sometimes internationally.
